Washington State Attorney Suspended for One Year After Disputing 2020 Gubernatorial Election
In December 2020, Everett attorney Stephen W. Pidgeon filed a complaint on behalf of the Loren Culp campaign in King County Superior Court to contest the results of Washington’s 2020 gubernatorial election following Culp’s loss to incumbent Gov. Jay Inslee the previous month, who won by a margin of 545,177 votes.
